Pirimicarb 50% WP (Wettable Powder)

A highly specialized insecticide formulated as a wettable powder (WP), containing 500 g/kg of the active ingredient Pirimicarb.

Selective systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and fumigant action due to its high vapor pressure.
Highly specific and effective against various aphid species across diverse crops, while remaining relatively safe to beneficial natural predators.
Belongs to the dimethyl-carbamate group, exerting its toxic effect through immediate and potent inhibition of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme in target pests.
Systemic properties combined with high vapor pressure provide immediate, comprehensive protection to all plant parts, remaining effective even under adverse weather conditions.
Exhibits a positive temperature coefficient, meaning its efficacy increases at temperatures above 20°C.
Effective at economical application rates with a relatively short Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) compared to many other insecticides.
Highly selective, making it ideal for breaking resistance in aphid strains resistant to other chemical classes.
Application & Usage Guidelines
Easily tank-mixed with most agricultural chemicals; perform a small-scale jar test prior to mixing.
Adding a non-ionic surfactant/wetting agent ( RH Surfer at 25 mL / 100 L of water) to the spray tank is recommended to improve spray coverage and efficacy.
